  • able to adjust readily to different conditions — as of a plan
  • willing to make concessions — as of a negotiator or a boss
  • Bo-Bo was gently positioned on an "egg crate," a soft, flexible pad covering the operating table, and was covered with a pale green sheet.

  • Interestingly, this technique can only be used in infants under 18 months when the brain is still developing and is flexible enough to recover from such a shock.
