Definition
an academic degree conferred on someone who has successfully completed undergraduate studies in a college or university (usually 4 years)
- "And what will you be doing now that you have your bachelor's degree in...what is it again?"
- "Oh, tons," I say, trying not to remember how just last weekend I picked up a copy of the SundayNew York Times and saw that every fashion-related job in the want ads—besides merchandising—either didn't exactly require a bachelor's degree, or did require years of experience in the field, which I don't have.
