Strongly Associated with:   Orson Scott Card
Notes:
A slightly updated version was released in 1991 to keep political facts accurate (such as the decline of the Soviet Union).

Card has written numerous sequels. Ender’s Game and the second novel in the series, Speaker for the Dead (1986), each won Hugo and Nebula awards making that the only time in history that an author won both science fiction awards two years in a row.
