general relativity theory of relativity special relativity
Notes:
This term is used to refer to the combination of Einstein’s special theory of relativity and his general theory of relativity.

It results in some counterintuitive conclusions accepted by virtually all physicists. For example, an object that is traveling at a speed that approaches the speed of light, would measure time more quickly, and would be measured shorter in the direction of motion. Also, gravity bends space.
