Strongly Associated with:   whole life insurance
Notes:
For the non-aged, term insurance is much less expensive than whole life insurance because most people die when they are old. Since many people most need life insurance while they are young and earning money for their family, term life insurance is often a good choice for young people with families.

On-the-other-hand, life insurance may be unaffordable by the time one is old or sick, so if long-term life insurance is needed, one might want to consider whole life as a way to spread the cost over time or renewable term as a way to assure insurability.
