Investment brokers and advisors often don’t consider no load funds even when an investor looking on their own might select them as the best investment vehicle.

When comparing no load funds, the investor should understand that although no "sales commission" will be charged some funds will charge a marketing charge of .25 to 1%. Additionally, funds have annual management fees as  percentage of the average daily balance. Management fees can vary greatly.
