Typically shortened to commission; though commission can have other meanings depending upon the context. "On commission", "not on commission", "5% commission", and "works for commission" are common ways of referring to sales commissions.

In real estate, traditional sales commissions are 6%. They are paid by the seller and often split between the sales agent, the sales agent’s broker, and the purchaser’s agent. Sales commissions are negotiable and are often less than 6% and sometimes more complicated than a simple flat rate.
