autarchy autarchic
Strongly Associated with:   monarchy, oligarchy
Notes:
More rarely, "autarchy" is used as an alternate spelling for "autarky" which references a nation that is economically self-sufficient without need of foreign trade.  As in:  "As appealing as self-sufficiency sounds, economic autarchy would bring relative poverty in an ever-shrinking world."

More rarely still, "autarchy" may reference an idealized political system in which each individual has self-rule with no government power, but this sense of "autarchy" is distinct from anarchy.
