Linking to
Generally, you will get what you see when you link to this site by simply pasting the URL from your browser address bar into your link. The site was designed with that in mind. For example, if you link to a quiz by copying it's URL into the link, the link will lead to the same book, the same quiz words, and the same choice of preview, review, or test mode.

If you link to the View/Select or Printer-friendly Study Sheet, the pages will always come up as though you had pushed the Restore Defaults button. So, for example, if you wanted your students to review the top-50 words, you would need to instruct them to chose that option when they arrive at the site. The only exception to this is that if you copy the URL of the view/Select page while it is ordered by chapter, that selection will be included in the link.

Finally, if you link to an individual word page, or a word samples page, you may notice that those pages open in a new window that is meant to view and then close. They do not provide a means to link back to the main menu because the user might be confused by having two navigation windows open. If you're linking to one of those pages and want it to provide a link to the main menu, just remove "?from=site" from the end of the URL.
