finite — as in:  a finite number

We are a wealthy country, but we still have to wisely allocate finite resources.
limited or with boundaries

Specialized meaning:  In reference to verbs, finite denotes a verb that is limited in time, by a tense, and (usually) shows agreement with number and person.
